We provide a wide range of services to ensure community safety, including fire suppression, motor vehicle accident response, responding to hazardous powerline incidents, removal of downed trees blocking roadways, and mutual aid for emergency medical situations.
Our support extends to coordinating and ensuring the safety of Life Flight helicopter Landing Zones for the West side of the lake as well as providing Mutual Aid to Coolin-Cavanaugh Bay Fire District

We have a variety of fire engines, brush trucks and a fire boat. They are unique and rewarding to become proficient at operating and to drive.
This Brush Truck is a converted military vehicle equipped with a pump, hose real and tanks providing both water and foam. It's quite useful for lightning starts in trees, brush fires and we also use it at Life Flight Landing Zones for dust control.
Our fire boat is moored at Hills Resort and can deployed for lake shore cabin or tree fires. It has a forward mounted nozzle and fire hoses can be extended to the beach.
We provide Life Flight membership to our district members that covers you and your household
Many companies in the outdoor clothing and equipment business, plus many others offer deep discounts to First Responders such as Firefighters
We provide CPR training for our teammates on an annual basis

If you enjoy hiking and are interested in being part of a team of community members committed to assisting Priest Lake EMT’s (Ambulance) with calls that require backcountry experience look no further.
Our team works alongside our EMTs and Drivers to safely assist/transport patients to the ambulance.
As you may know Priest Lake EMT’s responds to emergencies at Lion Head Water Slides, as well as, assisting individuals up to the ambulance from the river and motorists/bicyclists that have left the roadway/trail. Medical experience is not required, as our team is responsible for bringing gear and equipment to the patient location and if necessary we assist with litter carry back to the ambulance.
We do not respond to all calls the ambulance receives only those that require our backcountry experience.
