Stations 1 and 3 will soon be receiving lighting upgrades in the bays thanks to Captain Stockdale and his mobile tool box. Thanks Jeff !!

The Air Compressor in Station 1 will be relocated into the corner to allow more room behind Engine 2121.

A new Radio, Light Bar and Siren have been added to the Kalispell Station Tender. 

All three of these items will have power applied when the Battery Master is on and do not require the ignition switch to be on. 

Familiarize yourself with the Light Bar and Siren controls for quick access. 

Light Bar Control Panel:

the Middle position on the switch is a good selection as there different patterns that can be selected. Also try out the ALLEY and TD  (Take Down) light selections as they will illuminate steady white lights for use on a night scene.

Siren:

On the control panel take note of the MAN push button as it will activate a horn tone that can be useful as this truck has no horn on the steering wheel. Be warned that if you activate any of the siren functions in the station with the door closed that it's VERY loud. 

PA:

The microphone is for paging from the speaker on the front end of the truck and can be useful on scene. The Volume Knob controls the volume of Public Address function. Volume is increased by rotating the knob in a clockwise direction. Rotating the volume knob in a counter-clockwise direction decreases the volume produced by these features. The volume knob has no effect on siren tones.

It's a good idea to leave the headlights switched on to remind that the Battery Master is still on so we don't walk away from the apparatus with battery power still on.
